continuing the thread with my woven drawings.
i have have been trying out a few variations on plaiting strips together.
these are papers which are painted both sides, inspired by winter skies.
to plait, you have to twist the weavers, so constantly changing the side which faces you
– or rather, when plaiting the three-dimensionality of paper becomes more obvious – the drawing is sliding out of being a drawing, and into being an object.
