Dewch at Fwrdd y Gegin – Come to the Kitchen Table

Dros y ddwy flynedd ddiwethaf, rydw i’n falch fy mod i wedi cael y cyfle i weithio â Carreg Creative i ddod â llinyn celfyddydol i Gynhadledd Gwir Fwyd a Ffermio Cymru.

Yn ein blog dwy ran yma, rydyn yn disgrifio llinyn celfyddydol cynhadledd 2025, yn rhannu lluniau, ac yn cynnig rhywfaint o gefndir i’r gwaith.

RHAN 1: BWRDD Y GEGIN. Yn y rhan gynta o’r blog dwy ran yma, rydyn yn disgrifio llinyn celfyddydol cynhadledd 2025, yn rhannu lluniau, ac yn cynnig rhywfaint o gefndir i’r gwaith.

RHAN 2: CYDWEITHIO. Yma, rydyn yn rhannu rhai meddyliadau a phatrymau sy’n dod i’r amlwg o’n gwaith.

Over the last two years, I am proud to have been working with Carreg Creative to bring an arts strand to the Wales Real Food and Farming Conference.

Throughout the two days of the Conference in November 2025, we invited conference goers and students at Pencoed campus of Coleg Penybont to join us to recharge and reflect through working together hands-on, while sharing a cuppa and a snack. It was an invitation to slow down and mull over conference experiences, encounters and questions… to find common threads and draw out connections… and to explore the question “How might creative practitioners support and work with food and farming in Wales?”

I’m happy to be able to share with you today links to this 2-part blog I’ve written with Carreg Creative, reflecting on our work:

PART 1: THE KITCHEN TABLE . In the first part we describe the arts strand of the 2025 conference, share a selection of photographs, and offer some background to the work that we have been doing.

PART 2: WORKING TOGETHER . Here we share insights and patterns that are emerging from our ongoing exploration of the question of the ways in which creative practitioners can support and work fruitfully with those involved in food and farming in Wales.
